Practice Description
Whether you are seeking therapy as an individual, a couple of any make-up, together with others who are important to you, or with family members, I am privileged to offer you psychotherapy services. I value hearing and exploring the meaning to you of your unique narratives. A sense of loss is a universal, although often unrecognized mental state, as a response to death, illness, unrealized hopes and expectations, or traumatic experiences. I am dedicated to helping you find skills and your unrealized strengths to become unstuck from repetitive patterns in which you are experiencing anxiety and depression. Family Systems methods I use can be identified as narrative, emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioral, structural, attachment-oriented, and integrative. I am also highly influenced by my first career as a professional nurse and educator and thus relate well to persons with concurrent medical issues.
I see adults of any age, children of any age (5+) with parents or families, and some children pre-teen through adult.
