Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families coping with issues relating to substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma reduction, stress reduction and management, crisis intervention, relationship and intimacy issues, self-empowerment, family conflict resolution, life transitions -“empty nest” syndrome, retirement, job loss, career changes, grief and loss, procrastination, insomnia, phobias, exam anxiety, social phobias, addiction management, assertiveness training, smoking cessation, weight release, and more.
My approach is an eclectic, as I incorporate both traditional and modern therapeutic models, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focus Brief Therapy, as well as evidence-based practices of Hypnotherapy, Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), Motivational Interviewing, and other modern proven methods that produce positive results. I specialize in treating trauma-related issues and I work within the framework of each person’s spiritual and cultural value system.
