Practice Description
My name is Dawn Sutro and I have been working with families in Benton, Linn, and Lane counties for 15
years. I am trained as a Marriage and Family Therapist and I have worked with people at many ages and
stages of their lives. I have a particularly extensive background working with children and their families in
both inpatient and outpatient settings. I utilize various play therapy techniques, specifically sand tray and I
have a complete therapeutic sand tray at my office.
I have recently completed specialized training for working with Military families, with a focus on deployment
transitions and transitions to civilian life. My approach is to assist military families in reconnecting,
redefining relationships, and fostering family unity before, during, and after deployment.
I am a Employee Assistance Provider for Ceridian, Cascade EAP, Regence EAP. Also, I'm a Pacificsource Provider, Samartian Health Provider, a MilitaryOneSource Provider, a Tricare/Triwest
Provider, and a OHP provider for children in Benton County. I am currently applying to other insurance provider panels. My fee scale for uninsured clients is ,
