Practice Description

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families, adolescents, parents, divorced/separated parents co-parenting with a wide range of needs who are willing to do whatever it takes using AEDP and EFT. I welcome you to share your primary concerns and we develop a measurable solution-focused plan to help bring solid change speedily and make the greatest impact on these concerns. I offer skills/techniques to reduce anxiety/stress, improve sleep, mood, communication, and ability to function more resiliently. We identify the triggers, images, thoughts, emotions and sensations that cause difficulties and process them to create an optimally healthy mind that's reorganized in a more helpful way.
My practice style is strengths-based (I notice what you do well), culturally sensitive (your unique background/lifestyle matters), and relationship-centered (focus on affected relationships' patterns of interactions). I integrate solution-focused and systemic therapies meaning I have a positive focus, help develop emotional strength/resilience, and establish effective interactions to solidify relationships.
I offer co-parenting, step-parenting and blended family support to empower parents to influence strong-willed children or adolescents to change disruptive behaviors or defiant attitudes. I help couples who have lost hope in their marriage or relationship or have considered or initiated the separation or divorce process. I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) to help those with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety and depression in an effort to have a positive impact on relationships.
