Practice Description
I work with couples, individuals, and families. I specialized in marriage and family issues, midlife transitions, and individual ego supportive and insight oriented psychotherapy. I have a burning interest in the intersection of depression and domestic violence, especially because I work with both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. I run small therapy groups exploring a variety of issues and problems. I lead Retreats, Seminars, and Workshops challenging persons to deeper psycho-spiritual experiences. I hold certifications in Pastoral Psychotherapy, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Spiritual Formation & Direction, and Life Coaching. I developed a process method for personal and group engagement called Re-Membering (applying depth psychological concepts to religious and social experience). I might be willing to arrange sessions by telephone and/or make home visits to facilitate the elderly.
