Practice Description
Fundamental to my work is my belief in relationships as the key agent of change and healing in human beings. I try to be an authentic person in each moment, in all of my relationships, professional and otherwise. I have specific specialty in trauma and attachment work with both children and couples, parent/adolescent issues, impact of divorce and co-parenting work, issues related to grief and loss, and family systems issues. In my attachment work with children, I rely heavily on the theoretical framework of dyadic developmental therapy and the presence of the child's secure attachment figure/s in session. In my couples work I also specifically seek to address each partner's attachment issues where relevant. I also regularly utilize expressive modalities including therapeutic art, improvisational games, play therapy, and sand tray work when indicated.
