EXPERIENCE: My clinical practice over the years has been with individuals, couples and families (including children and adolescents) while also serving as the director of clinical services for a nonprofit organization. I currently consult for and serve on Boards of Directors for nonprofit organizations whose Missions are to strengthen families; serve children, adolescents and young adults; and provide mental health services.

PHILOSOPHY: Solution-focused, strength-based strategies from a systemic perspective that build on success leading to increased understanding, self-confidence and healthy relationships. With couples, I also incorporate "Gottmann Method Couples Therapy".

PRACTICE AREAS: ADHD; adoption and separation issues; anger management; anxiety and depression; adjustment and mood disorders; blended families; Gay and Lesbian relationships; men's life stage adjustments; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; abuse and PTSD.

My work with couples includes: marriage preparation; conflict management and problem-resolution; friendship improvement; recovery from extra-marital affairs; divorce adjustment; parenting challenges.

I am a "Prepare & Enrich" facilitator and have Gottman training.
