Practice Description

My focus is on adolescents, particularly substance abuse. I believe that adolescence is a difficult time for all teens especially with all the pressures of society. I think adolescents who are struggling to find themselves are often out of touch with their strengths and internal resources. I think parents have a responsibility to be tough yet caring.
I also work with couples and families struggling with substance abuse, depression, and marital conflict. I work from an emotion focused approach.
