Practice Description
My name is June Shigeno, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist practicing in the San Gabriel area of Southern California. In addition to providing individual, couples, and family counseling, I also conduct workshops and give lectures on topics within my field. My specialties and experience are the following areas: Couples therapy, pre-marital & marriage counseling (integrating EFT and Gottman model),cross-cultural counseling,family therapy & parenting issues,play therapy,adolescent / young adult therapy,grief counseling,depression / anxiety, Christian counseling,Asian counseling / counseling in Japanese, Counseling with cancer patients, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am also trained and certified in Emotionally Focused Couples (EFT)therapy.
