Mary Ann Aronsohn is an experienced, compassionate, easy-to-talk-to therapist. She works with a variety of clients and life situations. She loves working with couples and individual adults, as well as family members. Doing therapy is truly her life’s work. Ms. Aronsohn holds a certification in Object Relations therapy, which focuses on the client’s abilities to attach to others and how that affects relationships with the self and others. She is currently training as an Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapist, and is nearing completion of an international certification in that modality. Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) is powerful work designed to help couples create and maintain secure, loving bonds. Mary Ann’s specialties over the years include stepfamily couples and issues as well as co-parenting education and therapy. With a colleague, she developed and teaches a course called CHANNELS Of Understanding which trains separated/divorced parents to communicate and negotiate with greater integrity. Ms. Aronsohn is devoted to helping her clients develop their most authentic selves and live their lives according to their deepest values.
