Practice Description

In my practice, I work with individuals, couples and families. Relationships are vital and unavoidable in our lives. To have a great life is to have great relationships, both intimate and informal. I focus on creating a safe space so that those I work with can take risks and look at the areas in their life that aren't working the way they want. Then we can explore how to create the life they want and the obstacles that are getting in their way. Areas of emphasis include:
- Ongoing growth and development
- Depression and Anxiety
- Relationship distress
- Women's issues (including reproductive care/infertility, postpartum depression)
- Disordered Eating and Body image issues
- Parenting issues
- pre-marital therapy

One of the most important aspects of therapy is that there is a safe and trusting relationship between the therapist and the client. Research has shown that no matter what modality is used, the therapeutic relationship is key.
