If you are experiencing difficulties with your significant other, I can help as I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and extensively trained in relationship models. For years, I have been successfully working with couples to help them improve their communication strategies, heal from the trauma of infidelity and repair other significant relationship injuries. I began working with children and their families back in 1992 but today, I use the Gottman Method Couples Therapy because it is rooted in decades of research and practice. Years of positive outcomes is what sets this method apart from other non-researched therapies.

I have chosen this model because I want the best for you. Couples that I work with have the opportunity to complete an online, comprehensive, research-based assessment that screens for communication issues, turning towards behaviors, rituals of connection, sexual satisfaction and other dynamics that research has told us must be in healthy relationships.

While I specialize in working with couples, I also enjoy working with individuals. I am a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and a Gottman Seven Principles Leader.

I have also taught psychology and couples therapy courses at Purdue University Northwest at the undergraduate and graduate levels. I have also published and spoken on the topics of healing from the trauma of infidelity, telemental health service delivery, clinical documentation, clinical supervision and telesupervision. Additionally I provide independent clinical supervision, consultation and telesupervision in the Northwest Indiana and Chicagoland areas.
