Practice Description
In my work with individuals, couples and families I operate from a systemic conceptualization of health and change. For me, this means helping clients by encouraging their own strengths and resources (both individual and interpersonal) and encouraging resilience. I seek to understand difficulties by understanding the people involved and the context in which problems occur. This approach tends to be brief, active, and change oriented. Areas of emphasis include couple and relationship issues, child behavior problems, crisis intervention, and issues related to stress on the job.
