Cognitive Behavioral orientation. My approach is different than the medical model as I focus on health and prevention, rather than pathology and illness. I look at the current situation and find solutions for what is going on now...how we can change the present coping mechanisms to better deal with the current problem issues. My goal is to help people cope better, change attitudes, alter behaviors, modify life styles, ease the stressors, pressures, anxiety, anger, tension or pain so that people can live more peacefully and full within themselves. You cannot change what has already happened, but you can change how these events impact you in the present moment and therefore change future circumstances. Much of my therapy is Short term solution focused type therapy. Believe in the strong connection between the body/mind . My specialities include:Couples, Individuals dealing with relationship issues; Short-term brief therapy,Self-esteem,Depression, Body Image, Weight Maintenance, . Most of my clients are women or couples.
