Practice Description
"I enjoy working with both men, women and adolescent age children in my practice, individually and in couple, family and group sessions. My philosophical foundation is Humanistic Existentialism and my therapeutic orientation is eclectically balanced between a cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic approach. My sessions tend to be quite interactive and my focus is on the family system. My wife and I have been married for nearly 30 years and have raised three young adult children. I appreciate the tough lessons that families face these days including the strains imposed through parenting issues, elder care, financial demands and diminished time, to name a few. The many years that I have devoted to my career as well as to my own family have provided me with a compassionate understanding of the challenges that most people are confronted with in today's fast-paced, ever-changing world. I enthusiastically bring this knowledge to my work with my patients."
