I am a psychotherapist in private practice (San Francisco) as well as in a holistic medical practice (Mill Valley). My specializations are in integral health, coupling relationships (with couples of all orientations), developmental transitions and mood disorders. I also have extensive experience with freedom and intimacy dynamics, trauma and abuse (emotional, physical, sexual, ritual, domestic) or torture, perpetrators of abuse/domestic violence, elders and their families (i.e. caregiver exhaustion), aging & death, bi-polar disorder, PTSD, and women's issues/health. I am a West Coast practitioner of the Internal Family Systems model of psychotherapy since 1993 (see www.selfleadership.org for more information on this model) and also utilize humanistic, relational, feminist and psychodynamic philosophies in my practice. I am a certified EMDR practioner for trauma issues, anxiety/depression and grief and loss.
