Practice Description
David has been counseling children, adolescents, individuals and couples since 1992 with a specialty in marriage counseling. Drawing from both a Family Systems and Cognitive/Behavioral perspective David helps his clients move beyond the "symptoms" into a deeper understanding or roots of the presenting problems and equips them to use newer, healthier coping mechanisms.
People of faith are often referred to David due to his pastoral training at Fuller Theological Seminary and clients have the choice of receiving counseling with theological integration.
David primarily uses Imago Relationship Therapy in helping couples recognize the relationship patterns that typically push them apart and help them relate/communicate in way that draws them together, increases emotional intimacy, manages anger, and resolves conflict.
