Practice Description
My goal is to assist my clients in improving the quality of their lives by: reducing stress, increasing satisfaction with their relationships, careers, lifestyles, and learning to better cope with and/or resolve the emotional problems of living.
I strive to provide high quality therapeutic services demonstrated by my commitment to following these guiding principles: integrity, responsiveness, personalization, respect, confidentiality and knowledge. I believe in maintaining the utmost integrity. I conduct my business with honesty and professionalism, striving at all times to meet the highest of ethical standards. I believe that each of my clients is unique and that effective, successful therapy experiences result from responsiveness to and respect for this inherent uniqueness. I maintain the strictest standards of privacy and confidentiality.
In order to provide the highest quality of service possible, I am committed to my own personal and professional growth and development. I maintain a high level of involvement in continuing education and training. I have been in private practice full-time since 1993.
I provide individual, couple, family and group therapy as well as supervision and consultation. It is reasonable to anticipate, in most cases, that I can provide a thorough assessment and treatment proposal within 3-5 sessions. Special areas of emphasis include relationships, depression, men's issues, identity issues and group therapy. I have completed training in Mentalization-Based Therapy and provide workshops, supervision and presentations in MBT and related topics locally and nationally.
