Over the past 30 years I have helped individuals and couples from different cultural,ethnic,and religious backgrounds with diverse life experiences. I work with people who need to adddress persistent difficulties in their work, school, marriage, and family relationships. I provide a safe setting where individuals and couples can look at themselves in a deeper way, explore what triggers their emotional reactivity, embrace and understand their feelings,and if possible, develop new ways to heal their past and revision their future. I work especially with people experiencing difficult life transitions, depression, anger, guilt, anxiety, affairs, empty nest issues,loss/grief,and other issues that constrain emotional connection and personal growth. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and empathic.
