Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

I work with individuals, couples and families facing depression, anxiety, life transitions, and marital/relationship concerns, including survivors of childhood abuse and other traumatic experiences, adult children of alcoholics, and people active in addiction-recovery programs (12-Step and other). I'm LGBTQ-friendly.

In addition, I'm a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy practitioner and a trauma-sensitive yoga instructor. My philosophy as a therapist is holistic and body-mind-spirit-oriented.

Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and IAEDP Approved Supervisor
I am certified as an Eating Disorders Specialist by the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals, and I treat adults and adolescents suffering from anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating/obesity and compulsive exercise, as well as any food, weight and body-image-related issues. I offer group therapy for women with eating and weight difficulties. I provide supervision for therapists seeking certification.

Certified Internal Family Systems Therapist
IFS understands that within each of us is a system of parts that operate according to the same kinds of dynamics that govern an external family system. IFS works to heal younger parts that carry painful burdens from trauma and wounding experiences, and expand self-compassion and inner harmony.

AAMFT Approved Supervisor
The Approved Supervisor designation identifies those professionals who have met the educational, experiential, and supervisory training requirements to supervise MFT students and marriage and family therapists with Associate licenses, for LMFT licensure. I offer individual and group supervision for MFT students and LMFT-A's.
