Welcome! I have had the honor of providing therapy for over 22 years working with clients across the lifespan including adults, teens and children. I approach the therapeutic process in an interactive and solution-oriented way while working to create an environment that is warm, non-judgmental and empowering. Many of the clients that I have worked with struggled with anxiety, fears and phobias, traumatic experiences, PTSD, chronic stress, and attachment or relationship struggles.The therapy practices I most often draw from are evidence-based, effective approaches including EMDR, Mindfulness-based CBT, Somatic body-based work, Internal Family Systems and supportive psychotherapy. When working with children developmentally effective approaches are used and include child-centered play therapy, sand tray therapy, and behavioral interventions combined with parent guidance sessions.
Office Description
Online and in-person therapy are available options. The office is located in Oakland in the Montclair neighborhood off Hwy 13.
