I work from a short-term, solution oriented model, which views healing as involving mind, body, spirit, and heart and focuses on promoting health and resilency. I have been working with adults, couples, and families for over thirty years. The ways in which I work with clients draws from a number of theories and will vary, depending upon your individual needs and the particular issues you want resolved. I utilize the findings of scientific research as well as spiritual wisdom. I attempt to provide services to all persons regardless of faith, belief, race or sexual orientation. Although I have a Christian worldview, I will always work within your belief system, will not impose my personal values, and have a deep respect for all religions. If you request, I will help you to integrate your psychological growth withing your spiritual or religious values. Many of my clients have little or no formal religious background or interest but feel very comfortable with my non-judgmental approach to addressing their concerns.
