Practice Description

In the 35 years that I have been practicing as a psychotherapist working with individuals, couples, and families, I have developed an approach that includes gentle, yet directed guidance as I work cooperatively with my clients. Possessing a special interest in the treatment of mental health issues in women during their childbearing years, I am an advocate for identifying and treating women with pregnancy or postpartum depression/anxiety. There are many other aspects of women's reproductive health that respond well to psychotherapy. These may involve issues related to menopause, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), or infertility. Those who have experienced loss through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death often state that it is helpful to talk to someone who specializes in these areas.I also offer Couples Therapy for help in dealing with the oftentimes challenging transition to parenthood, infertility treatment, or other life stressors that can affect a marriage or partnership. I am in private practice with my husband, Dr. Dave Eichenhofer, PhD. We offer a wide range of mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults and we look forward to providing quality care to individuals, couples and families.
