Practice Description
Hey there! I am a PhD, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my PhD from the University of Louisiana Monroe. I completed my graduate and undergraduate studies at Johnson University. I enjoy connecting with individuals, couples and parents to help strengthen and empower these relationships to flourish beyond many circumstances. I mostly work with adults 18 and older. I work hard to be supportive and encouraging with my clients. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion. I feel the problem is in the way people interact with each other. I want to make sure the treatment fits the needs of my client. I realize it is not easy to ask for help and even harder to make changes. I am thankful that you are considering counseling as an option and am here to help you. If we happen to meet, I hope I can be just a small stepping stone in your journey to a happier and healthier life. My specialties include relationship issues, family conflict, and parenting. Some of the topics we can discuss in counseling are anger management, anxiety, blended families, life transitions, marital and premarital, peer relationships, spirituality trauma and PTSD. I also offer supervision towards licensure in Georgia for both Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists and Licensed Professional Counselors.
