Practice Description
Every person that comes to psychotherapy arrives with different reasons and circumstances. In many ways, I have found that people coming to therapy oftentimes struggle with understanding their feelings and how their problems or their lives somehow got out of control.
Examples of the kinds of people that I work with include:
• Teenagers that are easily frustrated, stressed out, or are having a difficult time with their parents;
• Young couples that are seriously committed yet are having trust, intimacy, or sexual problems;
• Women that routinely feel frustrated, stressed, and unappreciated by others in their personal and professional lives;
• Men who feel stuck in their relationships and life and aren’t one to usually talk about their troubles;
• Persons that put a lot of effort into getting to know people yet have a difficult time getting close and consistently feel used;
• Professionals with solid careers yet still don’t feel together.
Solving these and other personal problems requires courage, a willingness to take risks, and a reassurance that you are not alone in your struggles. You aren’t. To accomplish your personal goals in psychotherapy--whether it is to improve a relationship, overcome roadblocks to success, have a healthier sex life, or to simply grow--I will use a tailored, integrated, and holistic theoretical approach to best suit your needs and goals.
