My goal as a therapist is to empower individuals, couples and families as they strive for recovery. I take pride in fostering an open environment that allows learning, challenge as well as the growth of individuals. I have had the privilege of working with people from several backgrounds and as a multicultural person myself, focusing on larger systems such as one’s culture and background are very important to my work as a therapist. Therapy is a collaborative effort. In as much as people seek services to receive advice or solutions, I see the therapy process as a learning and sharing one for both clients and myself. I am interested in people’s strengths and the role they can play in recovery so I believe in being flexible to meet people’s needs as we discover them.
