Practice Description

I help couples in the middle of a crisis, struggling with arguments filled with criticisms and defensiveness, move through the issues and get to workable solutions. I also help couples who simply want to build a strong foundation for the future. The outcome goal of couples therapy is to develop the skills to feel more intimately connected and committed than you ever thought possible. My approach to counseling is very results oriented. I want people to start feeling better right away. I help people think about themselves, their lives and their relationships differently. I help couples take control of the way they feel and how they respond and deal with the challenges they face in a relationship. I have extensive training and over 20 years experience in multiple modalities of relationship therapy to include: Gottman, Imago, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and The Developmental Model. Additionally, I am a certified instructor for the national PAIRS Foundation, whose mission is to teach attitudes, emotional understandings, and behaviors that nurture and sustain healthy relationships. Are you a military couple struggling with some of the unique challenges of military life? I spent over 23 years as an active duty Army officer so I understand the challenges and stresses that military life places on relationships.

Office Description

I see client in person and also offer tele sessions. Office hours are 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday -Friday.
