Practice Description
In my work, I combine my passion for stories and relationships with a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I believe all relationships impact individual development; this is true of both your outside relationships, as well as the relationship with your therapist. At its core, therapy is about relationship. Working together, we will establish a trusting relationship where you can explore your stories, make sense of how you have arrived here today, and identify how you would like to go forward. In addition to treating individuals and couples impacted by depression, anxiety, and life transitions, who seek to establish deeper connection in their lives, I offer therapy centered on the following specialty areas: grief and loss, spirituality and faith (specifically discernment regarding exiting or changing faith, and religious harm), and eating disorders.
Currently, I am working as an Approved Supervisor Candidate in Oregon and taking on new supervisees. My mentor is Dr. Marcia Michaels.
