Practice Description
One of the most important messages I hope to communicate about my work as a therapist is that I feel honored each and every time I have the privilege to sit with clients in their pursuit towards growth. I value autonomy and believe clients are the experts on their own lives, wherein my role is to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship to help facilitate change and empower clients to live fully.
I work with individuals, couples and families to address concerns related to mood, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, personality issues, grief and loss. I also specialize in the treatment of eating and related disorders in people ages 12 and up. I have training in Emotionally-Focused Couples Therapy and enjoy working with clients seeking help with their relationships. My therapeutic approach integrates experiential, attachment, cognitive-behavioral and general systems theories.
