Practice Description
No matter the reason for beginning therapy, I believe in creating a comfortable and safe setting with a non-judgmental approach. I believe that the client-therapist relationship is one of the most crucial parts of, not only feeling comfortable enough to begin therapy, but also guiding clients toward lasting change. It is important to me that I connect with my clients, establishing a safe and trusting relationship. Within this safety, clients can be supported and challenged to face personal and sensitive struggles, in order to improve the quality of their lives and relationships.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and use a systemic approach in therapy, which means that in order to treat the individual it is important to look at their life in the context of their family and relationships.

I have specialized training and expertise working with clients who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse and victimization, familial conflict, family reunification, depression, anxiety, and sexual and intimacy issues. I have extensive experience in working with teenagers, families, and couples to address both individual and relational issues.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient/residential programs, outpatient mental health agencies, and private practice settings. I earned my Masters degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology from LaSalle University. I am a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, and I have openings to provide supervision for MFT therapists working toward their licensure.
