Practice Description

Children and families who come to my private practice are greeted by Shadow, my four legged assistant. A small black Labrador with warm eyes and a wagging tail offer a perfect fit for greeting children and adults who come from backgrounds of abuse and neglect. Specializing in attachment, trauma and adoption Shadow and I use several modalities for treatment some of which include EMDR (certified), Attachment Narrative Family Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy and CBT. All modalities are informed by Attachment Theory. There is an emphasis on parent education and the use of the model Circle of Security.
