Practice Description
" Engaging the heart and mind through a reflective therapeutic process to increase awareness, creativity, and wisdom." I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a PhD In Transpersonal Psychology. I have experience helping those who struggle with PTSD, loss, anticipatory grief, complicated grief, depression, anxiety, couple and family conflict.
My training in Family Systems and Transpersonal Psychology has provided me with a multidimensional perspective. I understand the web of connection and emotional dynamics that unfold in families, couples, and larger systems. My philosophical beliefs stem from the understanding that we are connected, and it is through this awareness that we learn the causes and conditions of happiness.
PTSD: Individual, couple, family, and group therapy with a focus on healing through reflective practices. GRIEF: Individual, couple, family, and group therapy. In addition, I offer in-home family therapy for families that are providing end-of-life care, and find it difficult to leave their home, or living facility.
The therapeutic process is guided through honest reflection, mindfulness practice, and sometimes, artistic expression. I work co-creatively with individuals, couples, families and groups to develop authentic treatment plans according to needs, wants, and personality. Groups are also guided through creative and reflective practices to bring deeper awareness, inspiration, inner peace, joy, and healing.
