Practice Description
I see individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting in which a broad range of issues may present, including marital/relationship conflict, child/adolescent behavior issues, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief. I work with couples, individuals and families who are navigating separation and/or healing from divorce. I am also trained in Discernment Counseling. I have specialty working with the behavioral aspects of acute and chronic illness and the challenges of caregiving.

For Married Couples: I want you to know before you enter my office that I care about your marriage. I believe that you want to find healing and wholeness. I suspect you've been trying to make things better, got stuck, and you are hurting, likely angry, and probably afraid. And you might not even think there is hope. I will offer you a safe place to explore what is going on in your marriage. As a family systems trained therapist I will help you look beyond the details of your particular issues to the ways you go about trying to solve them. You will discover your strengths as individuals and as a couple. You will learn how to stay grounded and in your own skin while you communicate more effectively, express your needs and desires to your spouse, and successfully resolve conflict. This journey is important and often serious. And I will challenge you. But you will also laugh. My hope is that you will leave knowing you have what it takes to meet whatever challenges life throws at your marriage.
