Practice Description

I am a native Californian. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Southern California, with a Bachelors degree in Clinical Psychology. I completed my graduate work at Pepperdine University in Malibu California with a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.

In addition to being trained in clinical issues such as depression and anxiety, I have done additional training in substance abuse/addiction / methadone treatment in the Hollywood community/many patients within the artist community and film industry working with individuals and their families.

I have extensive training in the public and private school systems in Los Angeles and Palm Springs California working with Children/Adolescents ( and their families ) with ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, Autism/on the spectrum/Asperger's and school behavior issues.

I have extensive training in mindfulness, sand tray therapy, art therapy, play therapy, parent training, and social skills training that was done in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Chicago, and Houston.

My treatment approach is Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Cognitive/Behavioral therapy. I provide Individual, family and group therapy.

Upon arriving in NYC a city full of vitality and culture I have been providing a combination of all my years of training since 1993 tailoring specific treatments based on the individual needs and challenges of my patients; facilitating healing.
I provide counseling in the office in NYC for patients and Provide Telehealth-Phone and video conferencing for patients in the following states:
New York, California, Texas, Illinois, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Florida, and Vermont.
