Iris believes therapy is a partnership between therapists and clients. The role of a therapist is to empower clients in their growth process, to gain insights and skills to overcome barriers, to restore broken relationship. Iris has extensive experience in conducting workshops about inter-personal relationship, parenting and self-growth topics. She is well experienced in pre-marital counseling, couple therapy and individual therapy implementing evidence-based practices. Besides providing direct psychotherapy for more than 20 years, Iris also came from a managerial background as the clinical supervisor, clinical director and executive director for non-profit organizations. Iris had supervised pre-licensed psychologist, pre-licensed social workers and marriage & family interns; served as the field instructor for MFT practicum students from different graduate schools in southern California. Iris is the “AAMFT Approved Supervisor” accredited by the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy.Therapy can be conducted in individual, couple and family unit.
