Practice Description
My goal is to work with individuals, couples, and families to help you move from a place of feeling frustrated and stuck towards the relationships and sense of purpose you are hoping for. I consider my role to be a "collaborative helper" in supporting and enhancing your own ability to find what works for you. The principles that ground my practice include respecting your unique beliefs and values, utilizing your strengths and resourcefulness, and working together to find solutions.
In addition to being a couple and family therapist, I maintain a registered nursing license. One of my areas of interest as a therapist is working with people who've been impacted by illness or medical complications.
I am also an Assistant Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy in a COAMFTE accredited program, and enjoy the ways that this challenges me to keep my work up-to-date.
