Practice Description

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist, working generally from a Bowenian perspective, although at times I use narrative, solution focused as well as research based couple's approaches such as Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment theory, and Gottman materials. I work with children, adolescents, couples and families in my private practice. I work a good deal with couples considering divorce, wanting better communication, connection and ways to resolve conflict in their relationship. I work with children and adolescents struggling with a variety of issues: family death and other losses, abuse, depression, anxiety and attachment trauma. I have some clients on my caseload with autistic spectrum disorders.I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I enjoy mentoring and encouraging supervises to grow in their skills with couples and families. As part of my training, I gained insight in ways to assist clients in integrating spirituality and faith into their counseling process if they so desire.
