I am passionate about working with couples and individuals helping them attain positive change. I believe that we can achieve personal health and well-being. This is accomplished by providing a safe, confidential, non-judgmental, environment to explore and learn about oneself; collaborating to create goals and positive changes that incorporate ones values and beliefs. This process involves listening, encouraging, and supporting the client. Along with knowing how the mind works and how our emotions respond, there is an art to working with and attuning to people, meeting their needs, and helping them learn to help themselves. Areas of focus include creating intimacy –moving from roommates to lovers, building communication, understanding and managing anxiety and depression, healing from infidelity, and building self-awareness.
