Helping others is not a job to be taken lightly. Professionally, it requires constant training and a continued passion for helping others. I utilize my training to help families, couples and individuals find ongoing solutions to the difficulties that they are struggling with. My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, parenting, marital and pre-marital issues, eating disorders, transitional issues as well as grief and loss. Counseling provides a safe place to resolve many of the symptoms of emotional and physical stress related to addiction, adjustment, depression, anxiety or trauma. Through relationship counseling, people learn how to reconnect after conflict and discover the power of truly listening to others in conversation. Therapy is also helping people learn how to respond rather than react in close and intimate relationships, resolving conflict through healthy communication patterns.
Together we can identify what is troubling you, examine the choices you are making and whether they help or hurt you. Deciding to seek counseling is often difficult; therefore, finding a therapist that seems to fit your needs can also seem challenging. My therapeutic style is working with the whole person, body, mind and spirit, not merely your symptoms. Seeking out professional help is the first step in solving these problems. Life is precious so don’t think that you have to work out all of your problems alone.
