Practice Description
I work with families, couples, adults, and adolescents. I work with people facing challenges with relationships, whether within the family or couple, or in the world of work or their social world. I work with people experiencing challenges with life transitions; people changing jobs or facing retirement, people experiencing empty nests, or loss due to divorce, death, or any of the other life difficulties related to the sadness or grief of loss. I work with adolescents experiencing the transition and adjustment to adulthood or the transition from the world of school and home to the world of work. I also work with people transitioning from single life to partnered life, whether accompanied by the birth of children or the presence of step children. These people are often dealing with depression, anxiety, anger, or confusion stemming from the use of coping skills developed in the past which are no longer suitable to the issues of the present day.
Together we will move forward in our work to deal with these issues using the combined goals of meeting the challenges of life in a more effective and functional manner, as well as with the hope of a reduction in pain and an increase in life satisfaction,
