Practice Description
What prevents you from having a happy life? What stops you from getting what you really want? Are you experiencing stress or sadness? Do you feel dissatisfied with your relationship? Are you having parenting or family problems? Are your children or adolescent having difficulties at home or in school? Or are you a single who cannot find a good relationship? Are you or a family member suffering with overeating, bulimia, drug or alcohol abuse, poor money management, job dissatisfaction, or problems with your sex life?
Most people consider psychotherapy when they feel they have exhausted their own solutions to their problems. Good psychotherapy can be an incredibly powerful and effective vehicle for change.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist who brings to my work with individuals, couples, families, and groups many years of experience, as well as intellegence, warmth, humor, and enthusiasm. I pratice psychodynamic psychotherapy, using cognitive and behaviorial strategies, with the perspective of family therapy. Combining these approaches helps solve current unhappy situations, while resolving the roots of your issues to insure long lasting changes. Together, we uncover and reshape unhealthy patterns which have been limiting your life. I provide the tools, structure, and support every step of the way. I work with you toward the discovery of stability, peace, and happiness.
