Practice Description

I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and families. I work with both children and adults. I view the counseling relationship as a process in which the client and I come to understand, respect and trust one another, work collaboratively to explore and define presenting problem situations, develop future goals for improving the life and relationships of the client, and work towards realizing those goals. I specialize in the practice of Marriage and Family Therapy, Couple, Relational, and Individual therapy. I focus on work with a variety of issues within the context of marriage and family therapy, including depression, adolescent issues, parenting, family relations, and family violence. Therapeutic goals are always established through a collaborative relationship with the client. The overall objective of therapy is the successful resolution of the identified problem or problems, which have been revealed through the collaborative process.
