Practice Description

I provide therapy to couples, families, adults and adolescents. I am an EMDR trained therapist. (Please see EMDRIA.org for more details.) I have worked extensively with people experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting struggles, divorce, death of loved ones, and physical illness. Other issues I frequently help people with are social phobias, addictive behaviors, and healing from childhood abuse and sexual trauma. I use empathic listening and a systemic approach to increase understanding about unhealthy patterns. This fosters new ways of thinking and behaving, and allows people to live the life they desire. I may also incorporate ideas of mindfulness into our work and explore physical manifestations of stress and anxiety when appropriate.
