My goal as a marriage and family therapist is to provide the best possible care for my clients through compassionate and ethical counseling in individual, family, and group settings. I enjoy working with individuals and families from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. As a systems therapist I recognize how family members impact one another as well as the impact of the broader community on the family system. An important aspect of my work with at risk families and youth has been encouraging self determination and helping them connect with agencies and groups in their communities that provide supportive services. I enjoy working with teens and young adults and am a certified juvenile sex offender counselor.
