Practice Description

I have extensive training and experience in family systems. I believe that we are all affected by issues related to our families of origin. The roles we played, the losses we may have suffered, personal experiences, both positive and negative, all have impacted us in some way. I find that when clients are able to gain an understanding of that relationship between "then and now," they are often better equipped to function in a more authentic way. I am also passionate about the topic of loss and grief--not only the death of a loved one, but a loss of any kind; i.e., job loss, relationship loss, infertility, etc. In our society, we do not respect the grief process.
