Practice Description
I have been practicing relationship therapy from a systems perspective for twenty seven years. I also am an approved supervisor with AAMFT. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, families and larger emotional systems (such as businesses, schools or non-profits) to support them in moving towards greater health. I have special interest and background for working with: depression, anxiety, couple issues, family issues, parent-child conflict, divorce and remarriage issues, men's intimacy issues, adolescence, infidelity recovery, transitions, spirituality and faith issues, grief and loss issues, drug and alcohol recovery issues, supervision from a Bowenian family sytem's perspective, and emotional systems consultation. For the past five years I have added neurofeedback to the resources I offer to clients. This is a form of biofeedback that utilizes brain wave activity to help with issues of focus, sleep, trauma recovery, mood, addiction recovery, anger, and reactivity.
