Practice Description
I incorporate concepts and theories from various schools of psychotherapy, tailoring my approach to each client. Within the safe therapeutic environment I facilitate the processing and healing of traumatic childhood experiences, as well as the development of more successful strategies for life.
I assist my clients in gaining insight into the continuing impact of early relationships ("internalized relationships") on their present difficulties, and guide them towards more satisfactory ways of dealing with life.
DBT and mindfulness techniques help to transform negative habitual thought patterns and counteract agitation, anxiety, and anger - and create a friendly emotional climate. My clients can learn to create relaxation, serenity and inner peace, which is paritcularly helpful for clients in recovery from addiction.
