Practice Description

I enjoy a relaxed and playful therapy environment working with all or part of families with school-age children developing solutions that work for the entire family. I work with families to learn new skills, help each member feel safe in asking for changes in the family and negotiating the changes. I coach parents in identifying solutions that help them be more successful in achieving the behavior they want from their children, while strengthening the balance of discipline and nurturance in the family as a whole. I specialize in school/family relationships and communications.

I also work with individual men and women who are seeking solutions for problems stemming from their depression, anxiety, addiction(s), overweight, relationships or career. I specialize in working in an integrated family health mental health practice.

I bring experitise in organizational management and strategic planning garnered from a thirty year career in public and non-profit mangement, integrating systemic organizational theory with family systems theory and practice.
