Practice Description
My name is Arlene Thomas. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in Redmond, on Seattle's Eastside.
I specialize in supporting individuals, families, and caretakers who are working through the effects of grief, loss, illness, and life's transitions.
I have a particular interest in working with couples who are dealing with infertility issues, high risk pregnancies, and bereaved parents and families and pregnancy after a loss.
In addition, I provide Premarital and Marital Therapy for couples. I enjoy helping couples and families prepare for their futures, navigate through life adjustments, and explore both strength and growth areas in their relationships.
I have experience counseling individuals, couples, and families who are working through a number of life issues including the following: adjustment, anxiety, depression, and restructuring of relationships.
Through counseling, my hope is to provide a safe place to process life and move towards growth, while recognizing the impact that both past and present life experiences have on each of us. Working with my clients to articulate their personal goals while discovering different avenues towards achieving those goals is what I believe counseling is about.
