Practice Description
My name is Kristi and I am from the north side of Indianapolis. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and I have been in the therapy field for over 20 years and have been practicing with Lotus Group for 17 years. I have both my Bachelors and Masters degrees from Purdue University and I remain involved in continuing education and training in order to maintain professional growth and development. I feel very fortunate to be able to provide compassionate and trusting care to those in my surrounding community that need professional guidance.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I believe in helping my clients reach their goals of improving the overall quality of their lives. Some of the areas that I treat are anxiety, depression, stress and anger management, social and coping skills, grief and loss issues, OCD, Asperger's Syndrome, divorce, life changes, and parenting issues. I treat a variety of teen issues such as school problems, self-harm behaviors, self-esteem and confidence issues, and bullying. I also utilize play therapy with young children in our play therapy room.
Some things that I enjoy in my personal life are cooking, being in the outdoors with nature, traveling, festivals, and the arts. I also enjoy being around animals and spending time with family and friends.
